Gord started photographing weddings at the request of family and friends and as he puts it, “all these people dressed up with perfect hair and makeup, having a great time; it’s a photographer’s dream.” In addition, he has gained valuable experience while shooting weddings and events with Ashley and Crippen Studios, one of the oldest and most reputable studios in Toronto.

Gord has noticed a change in weddings from days gone by. They are organized by the Bride and Groom, not by the parents. The photography is less about the formal albums for the families and more about recording the joy and fun of an important event. The couple wants images that they can put on Facebook or e-mail to their friends.
